Had iftar there yesterday. Possibly, the most generous restaurant I've been to yet. The food was delicious and hot, straight out of the kitchen. Decent serving portions, great service, didn't have to wait for any of the food to come out.
I lived in Dubai for 10 years and developed a deep love for Middle Eastern food - shawarma being number one, of course. Since moving to Australia, I’ve been searching for that authentic shawarma taste for ages, but honestly, it’s been hard to find anything that truly compares. Then I finally tried Mr Shawarma - and man, this is the closest I’ve come to what I’ve been missing all these years. Absolutely authentic hummus, mutabbal and garlic sauce - spot on. We ordered the platter and it was absolutely amazing. Perfect for two people and comes with all the right condiments. Their laban is excellent as well. The shawarma wraps are very reasonably priced, and the chicken is the real star of the show. The staff are courteous, the place has a great vibe, and the food speaks for itself. Highly recommended.
Gave Mr Shawarma a go the other day—pretty decent feed, though not the best shawarma I’ve had around. The price was spot on, real value for money. But the standout? That yogurt they whip up is next level—so fresh and tasty, I absolutely loved it. Would swing by again just for that!
